Owl You Need” Sewing Buddy with Iva Garrison
This is a little-stuffed owl that stands up and has pockets to stand some sewing or craft notions in. It was fun to make and really is adorable.  Everyone I have shown it to just wants to hold it, so it could also be used as a stuffed toy.

I have attached the instructions for our smocked Christmas ornaments.

I will have pleated white fabric, embroidery floss in red and green, and styrofoam balls.
If you want to get creative, I will have the pleater there to do any other fabric you may desire.

      Run this through a pleater
2 ½” Styrofoam Ball
42 seed beads

Armchair/Ironing Board Caddy with Barb Rice

Armchair/Ironing Board Caddy

Supply List:
fusible fleece
backing 7″ X 20″
fabric strips- can be scrappy!
binding 2-1/4″ X 53″
2, 6-1/2″ X  6-1/2″ muslin squares
2, 6-1/2″ X  6-1/2″ fabric squares– lining for the pockets
6-1/2″ X  7″- pin cushion
polyfil stuffing

If you prefer not to use strips for this you can use solid, print or a combination for front and pockets.
Then the supplies needed are:
fusible or non-fusible fleece  6 1/2” X 19 1/2”
backing 6-1/2”  X  19-1/2”
front     6-1/2” X 19-1/2:
pockets  4 each  6-1/2” X 6-1/2”
pin cushion   6-1/2” X 7”
polyfil stuffing
binding 2-1/4” X 65” minimum

The pattern calls binding 53” long.  I don’t think that is nearly long enough, better to have too much than not enough.
