Everyone to complete 2 garments (jacket & blouse) and a variety of projects including zippered quilted bag & scarf. This will all be sewn on a serger using a flatlock stitch. Contrasting batik fabrics give a dramatic look to this garment. The flatlock serger stitch enhances the seams to look like you applied trim. A pre-cut kit of rayon batik fabric and thread is included in this class.
Patty Dunn owner of All Dunn Designs and Pattern MD lives in New Braunfels TX – She is an award winning designer of dolls, handbags and clothing patterns which have been featured in newspapers and magazines. She has produced sewing program for PBS airing locally and nationally. Patty taught courses at the local Junior College and around the US on pattern drafting, tailoring, fitting and a myriad of creative sewing techniques. She has designed custom garments for many private clients.
Patty's goal is to provide simple sewing patterns that are easy to construct and fit today's NORMAL body type, not the magazine cover girl that everything looks good on. All Dunn Designs – Welcome
